  • ***** Great service! This place was amazing! I was really happy with the staff and how they treated myself and my partner. Our room, was stunning, but had some technical problems so we were upgraded to a suite straight away! I left my t-shirt there the next morning when we departed and they were kind enough to send it back to me in the post. Really nice atmosphere in the place, if I’m ever back around that area again this hotel will be my first choice, I cannot thank them enough for the service they provided.

  • ***** Mid Week Treat. Just had the most delicious meal at our local hotel/pub. The garden is a little sun trap, service excellent. Good white house wine but the food was exceptional. Booking a return visit! Our meals this evening were perfect. Fresh flakey fish, and crispy chips. However my lamb, sourced from the local butcher was delicious.

  • ***** Wonderful hotel Each room has a quirky name based on the floor and number. We were on the top floor in ‘Hi8h Jinks’ (high jinks). Recently refurbed. Very quiet. Extremely obliging staff. For the Saturday morning we were the only guests requesting an early 6.30 am breakfast. Rachel very obligingly came in and prepared us a wonderful full English! Situation of hotel very near to traffic lights and entrance very narrow. Our satnav did not recognise full address.

  • ***** Hidden Gem close to Swindon Had a one night stay for business purposes and could not fault the hotel at all. I was introduced to Linda the hotel manager on my arrival and was checked in speedily and shown my room. The room was very nice/ clean with all amenities needed for a business stop over. The bar area was a nice area to enjoy a pint or a glass of wine, although with the weather being nice you have the added bonus of sitting in the well laid out garden. The food was very good and very good value for money. Would I return, YES, without a doubt. Top marks for a very warm welcome and a lovely stay.
